Join Us!

Please feel welcome to participate in our lectures and events, whether or not you are a formal member of AIA.

At the same time, we urge you to consider membership in AIA. In joining the AIA, you become an active advocate for archaeology in all its facets (fieldwork, conservation, protection, education) throughout the world. By specifying Southwest Texas (San Antonio) society on the membership form, you become an active contributor to our local lecture series. We must maintain at least 35 active members to receive three AIA funded lecturers per year. AIA also provides a modest rebate for each member, which helps to reimburse the cost of supporting those lecturers. Thank you!

Visit https://www.archaeological.org/join/ for more information at the AIA and how to become a member. Find a local society here:  https://www.archaeological.org/societies/find. If you are an SWTAS member, be sure to indicate the San Antonio society (SWTAS) as your local affiliation when you sign up for AIA membership.
